Established in 1956, the Tuncurry Beach Bowling Club was founded by a small group of locals eager to create a social and sporting hub on the Mid North Coast. With the first green opening in 1957, it quickly became a cornerstone of the Tuncurry community. The club’s early years were driven by passionate volunteers and members who sought to bring together residents for friendly competition and camaraderie, long before the bridge linked Tuncurry to Forster. Today, it stands as one of the region’s most welcoming and vibrant clubs, proudly part of the Saints Bowls Group.
The club now boasts two greens, including one synthetic green, renowned for their quality and consistency, hosting everything from local competitions to major regional events. Beyond bowls, it has evolved into a social destination featuring popular dining venues, along with entertainment spaces for live music, functions, and community gatherings. Members and visitors alike enjoy a modern clubhouse that balances the spirit of traditional lawn bowls with a relaxed coastal lifestyle, making it a go-to venue for recreation and connection.
