The Sydney Saints is proudly supported by the Saints Bowls Group. It encompasses bowlers and supporters from all of Sydney and its greater outskirts.
The Saints Bowls Group includes St Johns Park Bowling Club, Tuncurry Beach Bowling Club, Wallacia Bowling Club, Balmain Bowling Club and Mollymook Bowling and Recreation Club. Our Group locations align to a large supporter base in Sydney, as well as other parts of wider NSW. We want our members to be connected to this new franchise, as well as attract bowlers from across Australia and all over the world.
The history of the Saints Bowling Club Group, the suburb that we originated (St Johns Park) and the logo/mascot (the Saints) are represented in the name, colours and logo of our new franchise in order to build an identity attractive to all markets but also connecting us to our membership.
Our first Bowls Premier League Competition was in 2024 – BPL20. The side consisted of Jackaroos Dawn Hayman, Ben Twist, International Player Jamie Walker (England) and coached by former Jackaroo Gerard Beath. The side finished 3rd in this event – which was a fantastic achievement for our first event in the competition.
