Balmain Annual Concord Visit

The annual visit to Concord took place last Saturday — and as always when we meet Concord, the temperature was turned right up!

Four rinks were contested across the day, with our selectors keeping a close eye on performances as they consider future selections. Balmain entered the match aiming to go back-to-back, and strong competition unfolded throughout, with some rinks surging ahead while others fought hard to stay in the contest.

In the end, honours were shared at two rinks apiece, however Concord claimed the overall result on the big board, 87–74. Congratulations to Concord on the win.

Following the match, players enjoyed lunch, refreshments, and great conversation — thank you to Concord for the warm hospitality. We look forward to hosting the return visit next time at BBC.
