St Johns Park Bowling Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Stuart Whyte as our new Bowls Development Coordinator.
Stuart joins us from Moama Bowling Club, where he was the Bowls Venue Manager. He has coached the Moama Steamers in the Bowls Premier League (BPL), played a driving role in the Junior BPL and other junior tournaments, and served as Bowls Victoria Development Side Coach. Stuart brings proven experience in coaching, program design, and building pathways that get more people on the green and help emerging talent thrive.
In his new role, Stuart will lead our whole-of-club development pathway – supporting new bowlers, strengthening participation, and helping our high-performance players progress. He will coordinate coaching programs and clinics, build school and community partnerships, and work closely with our volunteers, selectors, and coaches to ensure a clear, supportive journey from first roll to representative honours.
“Stuart is an important addition to the Saints: his focus is more people playing more bowls, more often—and loving it,” said Anthony Cottee, Group Sports Administrator. “His energy for coaching, community engagement and player care, combined with his BPL and Bowls Victoria experience, will lift standards right across the club.”
“I’m thrilled to join St Johns Park and the Saints family,” Stuart Whyte said. “There’s an incredible culture here. I’m excited to support our members, welcome new faces, and help every bowler take the next step in their game.”
Please join us in welcoming Stuart to the team. Stuart will be joining us from early November, 2025.
